Our School System is OUTDATED GLOBALLY
- The Internet made our school system outdated…
- Information is a commodity, the school system was built on ‘the memorization of information.
- Why do we have to do any math, we have a calculator on our iPhone that can give you any math.
- I don’t have to know anything, I can ask Siri or Alexa and in 2 seconds they’ll give me the answer.
- We are in a world where information is at our fingertips within a second for zero cost!!!
- The Old School System is DEAD!
- It’s the Parent’s responsibility now. Parents need to stop buying into the self-esteem wrapped up in their child going to a top university/college.
- Parents need to make sure their kids are happy.
- We care more about what other people think, and about what our children are accomplishing more than caring about our children.
- The issue is modern-day parenting, keeping up with the Joneses, not a School System Problem!!
- The argument is you need a degree to fall back on, but the most successful companies in the world do not require applicants to have a degree to get hired. Amazon, Google… so what are you falling back on?
- It’s like saying “you need to keep a HORSE on hand in case the CAR doesn’t work!!!
- This old school system is predicated on the framework our parents grew up with and the judgement their parents put on them to keep up with everybody else.
- We need parents who do not care what other people are thinking and care about their kid’s HAPPINESS.
- This information needs to be spread throughout our community and shared amongst those that feel pressure to put their kids in the OLD SCHOOL SYSTEM
In the next 10 years many many many businesses won’t even look at what college or university you went to, they will look at what ideas you’ve put “out there” and who are you connected to and what have you “made” …
