The MKUTANO Forum is the 24/7/365 Townhall where Black Canadians meet, learn, educate, and discuss topics important to communities. It’s our digital neighbourhood where we craft our own future. The mission is to facilitate accelerated community development through organized, respectful, transparent real-time, two-way conversations. They are captured and analyzed to provide insights and consensus that feeds effective strategy development and planning.

The solution to the Black dilemma lies in implementing A Canadian Black Empowerment Initiative (CBEI) as a destination for all things Black and intellectual that the Black world could model.

Kwanzaa is a non-religious and non-commercial holiday that was created in 1966 by Dr. Maulana Karenga, a professor and activist. It is a celebration of African heritage, unity, and cultural identity, providing a meaningful opportunity for African-Americans and others to connect with their roots and express pride in their ancestry.

We know fundraising is critical for Non-Profit/Charitable Organizations to fulfill their mandates. We give organizations the opportunity to post a campaign for the membership to see and optionally support.

MKUTANO hosts real-time conversations for Events free of charge. Persons who want to participate in the conversations must register with MKUTANO but are not required to subscribe. We do however, encourage everyone to subscribe, participate in the conversations and help build our community.
